about
I wrote the music to this one on the day after a very hard Christmas at my parents in Florida on my Dad's guitar. The words came later and a small bit of them are pulled from Paul Auster's book Oracle Night.
lyrics
The war was nearly over but we didn't know that/ we were too small to know that, we were young and all we knew was our bodies and the games that they liked to play/ I ain't saying I'd do it any better/ So when the war was over I rode a whale back to the states/ To visit my parent's farm/ That's where I stay too this day/ Cast out of my Eden/ So lost without my Eve/ I ain't blaming you for anything
